HostPapa, Inc., a leading Canadian internet company specializing in web hosting solutions for small to medium businesses, has announced the acquisition of Santa Barbara Web Hosting, previously owned by Add2Net, Inc, alongside other supporting brands.

Founded in 1997 as part of the Add2Net product portfolio, Santa Barbara Web Hosting served as an affordable web hosting alternative with a customer base largely in the United States. The acquisition also includes PacificHost, TheVine.net, Lunarpages, and eSolutions.net.

This acquisition strengthens HostPapa's ability to deliver affordable business solutions to U.S. customers and represents progress toward combining companies with shared objectives.

HostPapa CEO Jamie Opalchuk stated, "We're excited about the possibilities that this acquisition brings to HostPapa, including strengthening our position in the United States."

Add2Net's CEO Chad Riddle commented, "Add2Net was in on the ground floor of the web hosting industry in 1999. We've evolved and learned with this dynamic industry and have built profound expertise on how to provide top-quality service as well as the ability to offer market-leading products to our clientele. We are pleased to sell these brands to a company that will continue to provide the highest quality service for the unique needs of this segment of the industry."

HostPapa will prioritize upgrading infrastructure and enhancing support coverage for newly acquired customers.
